School Business Manager

The role:

• Leading the school's business, finance, and operational functions
• Managing budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation
• Overseeing HR processes, recruitment, and personnel administration
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety, safeguarding, and statutory requirements
• Supporting the Headteacher and governors with strategic planning and school improvement priorities
• Contributing to the efficient day-to-day running of the school

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience in a School Business Manager or senior school administration role
• Possess strong financial and organisational skills
• Have knowledge of school systems, compliance, and operational procedures
• Be an effective communicator with excellent leadership skills
• Be proactive, highly organised, and able to manage competing priorities
• Be committed to supporting the wider success of the school community
