Overview

We're looking for an Administration Assistant to join our friendly Sexual Health Service team based in Chester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator or customer service professional who enjoys variety, takes pride in delivering high-quality support, and wants to contribute to a service that positively impacts local communities.

Responsibilities

As an Administration Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the service, helping patients navigate their journey from referral through to consultation and discharge. You'll work closely with clinical and management teams to ensure administrative processes are delivered efficiently and professionally.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing patient appointments and maintaining electronic patient records
  • Providing a professional and welcoming reception service
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries with excellent customer care
  • Updating patient information accurately and confidentially
  • Supporting referral processes and clinic administration
  • Producing correspondence and administrative documentation
  • Assisting with service audits, reporting, and data collection
  • Supporting communication, marketing, and patient feedback initiatives
  • Ordering supplies and supporting general office administration
About you

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Organised, efficient and able to prioritise a busy workload
  • Confident using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Power Point
  • An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • Customer-focused and professional when dealing with patients and colleagues
  • Able to work independently while also being a supportive team member
  • Adaptable, proactive and solutions-focused
  • Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion
  • Able to travel to community locations across Cheshire West & Chester when required
Essential Qualifications
  • GCSE-level education (or equivalent)
  • Good IT literacy and experience using office software packages
