* Summary:

** The SIOP Analyst will have overall responsibility for forecast adherence, accuracy, and optimization activities.  Using an analytical approach, this position will develop, manage, and optimize processes around SIOP functions and will work primarily with the Supply Chain and Commercial teams to establish equilibrium between product supply and demand across multiple product lines and warehouses.
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Lead monthly forecasting efforts between Supply Chain, Sales, and Principal Development teams.
* Prepare monthly SIOP data files and support monthly meetings with cross functional teams.
* Compare statistical forecast data with projected sales trends to highlight and correct imbalances in inventory positions.
* Meet regularly with Inventory Managers to drive inventory optimization.
* Manage data integrity related to system generated forecasts and customer submitted forecasts.
* Participate in forecast improvement initiatives with Principal representatives.
* Assist in managing inventories in impaired or expired status with emphasis in creating channels for movement.
* Monitor department KPIs related to days inventory and impaired/expired goods to drive metric results and meet operating objectives.
* Cross train to provide back-up support to Inventory Managers and Supply Chain Assistants.
** Other Responsibilities include (but not limited to)
*** Receive, analyse, and enter all customer submitted forecasts into demand planning software.
* Understand and adhere to/follow the department procedures and policies.
* Adhere to and support the principles of Responsible Distribution.
* Assume other activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed.
* Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
* Lead recertification efforts for product that is expired or near expiration.
