Business Development Manager | Timber Packaging | UK | Up to £60k

You

will be responsible for:
  • Identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across manufacturing, packaging, and merchant sectors to drive sustainable revenue growth
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients to position the company as a preferred timber packaging supplier
  • Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and specification through to quotation, negotiation, and closing, ensuring a seamless customer experience
  • Developing strategic account plans to maximise account value through proactive upselling, strengthen retention, and drive long-term partnership growth
  • Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to inform commercial strategy and maximise margin opportunities
Key attributes required:
  • Proven track record of winning new business and consistently delivering against sales targets
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify profitable opportunities and negotiate effectively
  • In-depth knowledge of timber packaging products
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels
