Warrington Salary: £40,000 - £55,000

Bennett & Game are representing a growing and well-established construction consultancy who are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Northern team.

The successful candidate will join a business providing professional Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management and wider construction consultancy services across a broad range of sectors. Their project portfolio includes residential, healthcare, commercial, education, refurbishment and fit-out schemes, offering exposure to varied and interesting work.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to continue progressing their career within a supportive and growing team. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors and Directors, gaining exposure to a diverse project portfolio while taking increasing responsibility for their own work.

Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 depending on experience

Quantity Surveyor

Position Overview
  • Deliver pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a varied project portfolio
  • * Assist with cost planning, estimating, tender documentation and Bills of Quantities
  • * Support procurement processes and the management of subcontract packages
  • * Prepare valuations, variations, cost reports and final account information
  • * Monitor project costs and assist with commercial reporting and change management
  • * Attend client, site and project meetings as required
  • * Work closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors while developing responsibility for your own projects
Quantity Surveyor

Position Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a construction environment
  • * Main contractor or contractor-side experience would be highly advantageous
  • * Good understanding of both pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying
  • * Experience with procurement, valuations, variations and cost reporting
  • * Able to manage workloads effectively and work independently when required
  • * Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • * Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline would be advantageous
