Develop, manage and maintain detailed construction-phase programmes, incorporating interface milestones, activity durations and schedules from multiple contractors.

Work closely with Project Managers, Design Managers and Project Quantity Surveyors to maximise project performance and delivery outcomes.

Manage project controls resources and processes to support effective project delivery.
Ensure the production of accurate weekly and monthly reports covering progress, actual costs, forecasts, programme performance and variances.
Provide senior management with clear and timely updates on project scope, progress, costs, forecast completion dates and anticipated final expenditure.
Oversee programme updates, forecasts to completion, variance analysis and performance reporting.
Establish and maintain project baselines, change-control procedures, risk registers and critical-path analysis.
Ensure project controls processes are consistently applied throughout the project.
Support the development and implementation of resource-loaded schedules where required.
Promote best practices in programme integration, project governance, reporting formats and programme optimisation.
Commercial and Cost Management
Monitor project expenditure and support effective cost control throughout the construction process.
Work closely with estimators, planners and Quantity Surveyors to identify value-engineering opportunities and manage construction costs.
Identify potential cost variations, programme risks and opportunities to improve project efficiency.
Provide accurate cost and completion forecasts to support informed decision-making by senior management.
Stakeholder Management and Collaboration
Build and maintain effective working relationships with construction, commercial, design and technical teams.
Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, engineering professionals and other project stakeholders to maintain progress against agreed objectives.
Attend and actively contribute to meetings involving relevant pre-construction, project development and construction teams.
Ensure regular, effective communication and appropriate project meetings take place.
Collaborate with the wider project team to resolve issues, manage interfaces and achieve programme milestones.
Leadership and Professional Standards
Maintain a professional, conscientious and customer-focused approach in all business interactions.
Represent the organisation professionally when engaging with clients, customers, partners, suppliers and external stakeholders.
Support effective project communication and collaborative working practices.
Follow reasonable management instructions and comply with company policies and procedures.
