Veterinary Receptionist

Gatehouse Veterinary Centre Ltd, Lavister, Wrexham, Wales

Our practice consists of eight vet surgeons, a team of seven nurses, three patient care assistants and seven receptionists.

Your duties will include:

• Greet all clients in a friendly and professional way.
• Answer telephone calls from clients in a welcoming and calm manner.
• Provide excellent customer service, informing and educating clients sympathetically.
• Convert inquiries into appointments to maintain pet healthcare.
• Efficiently organise the appointment diary.
• Handle and update client data and records.
• Record relevant information in the practice system to support the clinical team.
• Ensure the accuracy of invoices and collect payments on the day of treatment.
• Make pre‑op reminder calls and reschedule missed appointments.

This is a part‑time role working 19 hours over two days per week from 8:00am till 6:30pm.
