Workingand Training as Dental Nurse
A dental nurse works side‑by‑side with the dentist assisting in a variety of NHS and private dental procedures, ensuring the patient care and experience is at its best.
Responsibilities- Assist the dentist by providing chairside support, ensuring that the correct equipment and materials are available.
- Provide support and assistance to a wide array of patients.
- Follow practice health and safety and infection control procedures.
- Keep the clinical areas and all equipment and instruments clean, tidy, and disinfected.
- Accurately complete patient clinical records.
- Complete all clinical daily, weekly, and monthly logs and checks.

- Written and practical exams
- GCSE grade C+/4+ in Maths and English, or evidence of a passed Functional Skills course.
- Eligible to study for a Functional Skills course alongside the apprenticeship if required.

- Able to commit to a 12‑month+ training programme.
- Comfortable working in a clinical environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with colleagues and patients.
- Excellent organisational skills to keep appointments on time.
