Are you confident managing a classroom and supporting students’ learning across a range of subjects? We’re looking for a reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools across Cheshire West.

As one of the fastest growing agencies in the UK, Prospero Teaching are looking for confident and professional Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in the Cheshire West area. The role involves delivering pre-prepared lessons, maintaining behaviour standards, and ensuring students remain focused and engaged during teacher absences.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in teaching or for experienced school staff looking to take on more responsibility in the classroom.

• Location – Cheshire West
• Position – Cover Supervisor
• Type of work – Classroom supervision / delivering pre-set work
• Start date – As soon as possible
• Contract type – Temporary
• Full time / part time – Full time
• Minimum rate of pay – £90 – £110 per day
• Hours – 8 : 30am to 3 : 30pm

• Previous experience working with young people in a school or similar environment
• Degree or relevant qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
