SEND Teaching Assistant – SEN School – Chester

Hirecracker Education are working with a Special Educational Needs School in Chester supporting children with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), autism, and complex care needs
. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to join the team, providing personalised support to pupils to help them access learning, develop independence, and thrive in a safe and structured environment.
- Supporting pupils with SLD, PMLD, autism, and complex care needs in the classroom, tailoring approaches to individual sensory, communication, and learning requirements
- Delivering 1:1 or small group interventions focused on personalised learning, social skills, communication, and emotional regulation
- Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, behavioural, and health needs using positive reinforcement and consistent strategies
