Job Description:
Milk Education are recruiting a purpose‑driven and ambitious Teaching Assistant to work across a range of Primary Schools in the Chester‑le‑Street and Stanley areas.
You will join inclusive, supportive school environments that champion strong values around diversity, equality and pupil wellbeing. This is an excellent opportunity for both new and experienced educators to make a real difference and support pupils in reaching their full potential.
Responsibilities- Promoting inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
- Delivering small group and one‑to‑one intervention/catch‑up sessions
- Supporting pupils in line with their individual learning and pastoral needs
- Working closely with the class teacher to plan, adapt and evaluate lessons
- Recent and relevant experience within an education setting
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB) or relevant experience
- Ability to work effectively under the guidance of the classroom teacher
