Academics is working closely with a number of primary schools and nurseries across Chester to recruit their next dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant
, including those with Level 2, Level 3, and Early Years specialisms
.
Whether you're looking for consistent long‑term work or flexible day‑to‑day assignments, we have opportunities to match your preferences.
Your Role Will Include- Providing classroom support across EYFS and Key Stages 1 & 2
- Delivering targeted interventions and supporting learning outcomes
- Assisting pupils on a 1:1 basis where required
- Providing interventions to small groups of pupils where needed
- Encouraging engagement and positive behaviour
- Collaborating with teachers and wider school staff
- A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (or relevant experience)
- Previous experience within a school or nursery setting
- Confidence supporting children across different age groups
- A reliable and committed approach to work
- Access to a wide network of Chester and Cheshire‑based schools
- Flexible working to fit your schedule
- Potential to secure long‑term or permanent roles
- Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement
