About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Science Teacher to work on a temporary/supply basis in a secondary school in Chester. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and adaptable teacher looking for flexibility while making a positive impact in the classroom.
The role involves delivering engaging science lessons across Key Stages [3/4], ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics
- Manage the classroom effectively and maintain strong behaviour standards
- Support student learning and engagement across mixed ability groups
- Provide feedback on pupil progress where required
- Adapt quickly to new school environments and routines
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level
- Strong classroom management skills
- Flexible, reliable, and able to hit the ground running
- A genuine passion for teaching and supporting student progress
