SEN Teaching Assistant

The governors at Acres field Academy are looking to appoint an excellent teaching assistant to join our school from September to work with the children accessing support from our resource provision.

32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (term time only)

We are looking to appoint a member of staff to support pupils with additional needs as part of our resource provision. Our resource provision is designated for pupils with moderate learning needs and complex needs. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate they can encourage children to develop, both academically and personally and overcome barriers to learning in a nurturing and calm environment.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate they are a flexible, team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt their practice according to the needs of the pupil. You will be joining a hardworking and highly successful staff team, who will provide you with appropriate support and challenge to enable you to develop yourself professionally.
