Prospero Teaching are seeking a versatile English & Maths Tutor to support learners through flexible 1:1 tuition in Chester.
The successful candidate will be confident supporting learners across core subjects and able to adapt sessions depending on individual ability, confidence and learning needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 tuition in English and Maths
- Support learners to close gaps in their core knowledge
- Plan structured and engaging sessions
- Adapt resources and teaching strategies
- Build learner confidence and motivation
- Monitor progress and provide appropriate feedback
- Strong knowledge of English and Maths
- Experience teaching or tutoring children or young people
- Ability to deliver engaging 1:1 sessions
- Flexible and learner-centred approach
- Experience supporting learners with additional needs is desirable
- Relevant teaching qualification or tutoring experience desirable
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Right to Work in the UK
- Two professional child-related references
