Project Management Apprentice – Transformation & Public Buildings

Ramboll invites you to join our Project Management team as an Apprentice, working on a variety of engineering and construction projects worldwide. This apprenticeship will start in September 2026 and offers two pathways:
1) HNC in Construction & the Built Environment – for candidates with A’ Levels or a Level 3 qualification, including lectures, laboratory work, surveying fieldwork, and site visits.
2) Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship – for those already holding a relevant HNC/HND; full support will be provided on a day‑release basis.
Responsibilities- Support delivery of projects from inception to completion, ensuring scope, contracts, programme, change management, risk registers, budgets, and QA procedures are maintained.
- Assist in managing the design process through workshops and leading project meetings.
- Communicate with and represent the client's interests, providing a professional, cost‑effective service that meets stakeholder expectations.
- Manage sub‑consultants such as quantity surveyors, architects, or specialist designers.
- Maintain day‑to‑day project activity including monthly reports, minutes, MS Project programmes, and presentation delivery.
- Coordinate and deliver high‑quality outputs from multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop safe, sustainable, and profitable solutions.
- A minimum of 2 A‑levels grades A to C (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 GCSE grades A
* to C, including grade B in Maths and English. - For straight‑entry into the Level 6 course:
Level 4 Construction Design and Build Technician Standard; TCIAT status; HNC/HND in Construction and the Built Environment or equivalent. - Clear communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong technology aptitude.
- Personal responsibility for work.
- Willingness to learn and progress.
