Location: Cheshire West and Chester
An Electrical QA/QC role in a UK-based Energy from Waste (EfW) new build project involves ensuring electrical systems meet quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Quality Assurance:
Overseeing electrical manufacturing quality and implementing quality processes
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to UK regulations, such as BSIET Wiring Regulations) and relevant MCS Standards
- Documentation:
Maintaining accurate project documentation, including system requirements, reports, and technical specifications
- Inspection and Testing:
Conducting inspections and tests to verify electrical systems meet design specifications
- Collaboration:
Working with design engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality and timely delivery
- Risk Management:
Identifying and reporting project risks and mitigation strategies
Typically, this role requires:
- Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of UK electrical regulations and standards
- Experience with electrical design, installation, and testing
- Strong communication and project management skills
