Graduate Geotechnical Engineer – Chester

Salary: £25,000 – £29,000

We are a well‑established, independent engineering consultancy based in Chester that has been operating for over 40 years. We provide specialist civil, structural, geotechnical and environmental engineering services across residential, commercial and industrial projects throughout the North West.

The Role

Assist with site investigations and ground assessments
Log soil and rock samples
Prepare technical reports and factual data
Support geotechnical and geo‑environmental assessments
Liaise with clients, contractors and internal teams
Undertake site visits across the region

Qualifications

Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Geoscience, Earth Sciences or a related environmental discipline
Strong communication and report‑writing skills
Full UK driving licence
Full right to work in the UK
Ability to work both on‑site and in the office
Must live within a commutable distance of the Chester office
