Process Engineer

Location: Cheshire West and Chester

This is a new, exciting and challenging role across sectors where you can make a real difference developing prototypes, conceptual design and FEED through to the full life cycle of projects.
The role would be suitable for someone who excels at project management and project engineering and possesses the ability to run and manage jobs on their own.
The role is client front facing and good communication skills are a must.
A successful applicant will have the drive to work on their own and within a team.
Other responsibilities include:

* Preparation of proposals, including cost estimation, test reports, plant specification and design.

* Preparing material lists (BOM) from drawings and specifications. AutoCAD and P&t an advantage.

* Managing contracts and documentation i.e. risk assessments, technical construction files, operation and maintenance manuals etc.

* Ensuring that design is consistent, complies with specifications and other legislation i.e. Health and Safety, ATEX etc.

* Trouble shooting and communicating to the client a key ability to have.

* Experience in a production environment essential – COMAH site experience preferred. Current blue-chip clients include Essar and Shell Bitumen to name a few.

* Beneficial experience includes process safety, HAZOP, Functional safety, DSEAR, detailed design, Mass balances, pump sizing, etc.

* Commissioning and handover.

* Provision of technical support for sales, obtaining equipment and project specifications by phone.

* Equipment tests and site visits. Travel and overnights stays within the UK required mary
