UK Finance Manager
- Annual Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum

We are seeking a Finance Manager to play a pivotal role for one of our client's Operational Sites Management Team. This position is crucial for driving efficiencies and maximising operational performance across our UK operations. The Finance Manager will lead the finance team, oversee financial and payroll activities, and ensure fiscal and regulatory compliance for all UK-based legal entities.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Lead the finance team in the preparation of current financial reports and oversee the financial and payroll activities.
- Ensure accounting, fiscal, and regulatory compliance for all UK-based legal entities.
- Act as company secretary for one or several legal entities and potentially hold a Director position.
- Manage the processing of accounting for the SP Broughton and oversee the Air Livery Team based in Norwich.
- Handle monthly VAT returns and liaise with advisors to ensure all tax obligations (e.g., corporation tax, PAYE) are met on time.
- Maintain the integrity of Group Tax relief in the UK.
- Work with the BU Finance Manager to ensure that financial systems, procedures, and controls are in place and operating effectively.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the company's accounting software (SAP), with support from the Group team.
- Manage an accounting team of 2 people, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for UK entities.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiencies within the finance department.
- Lead and mentor the local finance team to ensure excellence and development within the team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Fully CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified
- Ideally Practice trained
- Proficiency in SAP and other financial software.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain compliant with all financial and regulatory requirements.
- Willing to "roll sleeves up" and work at all levels
