About the Role
Level 4/5 Permanent – Financial Planner – Chester, Liverpool or Manchester. This client‑focused, high‑impact role drives new business, deepens existing client relationships and delivers profitable outcomes for Quilter Cheviot’s high‑net‑worth advisory service.
Key Responsibilities- Grow the lower and high net‑worth client base, utilising personal business‑development skills and Quilter’s brand support.
- Build a strong pipeline – run events, follow up quickly and create a consistent flow of new business.
- Own your growth plan and targets (activity, pipeline and conversion) with coaching from the Area Director and distribution partners.
- Maintain and grow an existing client base – win new clients through your professional network (accountants, solicitors, corporate advisers) and Quilter referrals.
- Deliver holistic, private‑client‑focused advice, increasing assets under advice and overall profitability.
- Keep all documentation compliant – meet FCA requirements and Quilter values, generating great client outcomes.
- Essential – Level 4 (Diploma) in Financial Planning and 2+ years giving regulated advice to high‑net‑worth private clients.
- Desirable – Advanced Financial Planning qualification or Investment Advice Certificate (or equivalent) and experience advising existing and new high‑net‑worth clients, working closely with Discretionary Investment Management.
- Strong client care, business‑development skills, technical knowledge and regulatory awareness.
This role is within the scope of the Consumer Duty and is expected to comply with Quilter Cheviot Consumer Duty policies and requirements.
