Trainee Accountant

Department: Early Careers

Location: Chester (Ellesmere Port)

Responsibilities

After a proper induction and development plan, your day will involve preparing year‑end financial statements for a range of clients, calculating corporation and personal tax liabilities, developing tax‑planning ideas, shadowing to support your AAT studies, and building strong client relationships.

Qualifications
  • Excellent academic background: 5 GCSEs at level 5 or above, including Maths and English at level 6 or above, and on track to achieve 3 A Levels (or equivalent) at Grade C or above.
  • Enjoy learning and building relationships with people.
  • Motivated to deliver extraordinary service, embracing a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proactive attitude toward tasks of any complexity or size.
  • Creative thinker who enjoys finding alternative solutions.
