Paraplanner - Be More Than a Report WriterLocation: ChesterSalary: £45,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Ready to step beyond traditional paraplanning? Most paraplanner roles keep you behind the scenes.

This one doesn't.

We're looking for an experienced Paraplanner who wants to play a central role in shaping a growing financial planning business - not just writing reports, but influencing investment strategy, improving systems, and working directly with clients.

If you're someone who enjoys thinking critically, challenging the norm, and making a genuine impact, this is your opportunity.

This is a role for someone who doesn't want to be "just another paraplanner".

About UsWe may only be 6 months into our journey, but we already have £100m+ assets under management and a diverse client base ranging from £50k to £25m.We're now focused on building the right infrastructure - people, processes, and investment proposition - to support long-term success.

And that's where you come in.

The RoleYes, you'll produce high-quality suitability reports. But that's just the starting point.

You'll also:

  • Take ownership of researching investments and creating a watchlist of opportunities
  • Play a key role in shaping our future investment proposition
  • Vet BDMs and analyse products, determining what's truly worth recommending to clients
  • Work closely with advisers and meet clients directly
  • Help design, improve, and evolve business systems and processes
  • Contribute ideas to drive efficiency, innovation, and better client outcomes

What We're Looking For

  • Proven paraplanning experience (essential)
  • Level 4 Diploma (preferred) or working towards with relevant experience
  • A commercial mindset with the confidence to challenge and contribute
  • Strong research skills and the ability to think outside the box
  • A desire to be part of building something, not just maintaining it

What You'll Get

  • Up to £45,000 salary (depending on experience)
  • Discretionary bonus
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Workplace pension
  • Full study support for continued development
  • City centre parking (7-day permit) - including personal use
  • Flexibility when needed

Why This Role Stands Out

  • You'll be a key individual in a growing firm
  • You'll directly influence investment decisions and strategy
  • You'll gain exposure to complex, varied client scenarios
  • You'll help build something from the ground up

If you're a capable paraplanner who's ready to step up, be heard, and make an impact, we want to hear from you. Apply now or contact Rhyan Scott at Reed Financial Services for more information.
