Accounts Assistant

I am working with a dynamic, growing business in Haverhill who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team for a period of 12 months. Working closely with senior finance colleagues, you'll play a key role in supporting month-end close through posting routine journals, including accruals and prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, banking and invoice processing. The role Processing and validating supplier invoices Managing purchase order and invoice queries with internal stakeholders Posting and allocating daily bank transactions Completing bank and balance sheet reconciliations Month-end support - journals, accruals and prepayments Maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with audit requests About you Experience in an Accounts Assistant or Finance Assistant role Strong purchase ledger and reconciliation experience Exposure to month-end processes and general ledger postings Good Excel skills and experience using finance/ERP systems AAT qualification (or currently studying) is advantageous What's on offer?
