Management Accountant

Management Accountant £40,000 – £45,000 Altrincham Ready to step out of the numbers and into the decisions? This is an opportunity for a part or newly qualified Management Accountant to work closely with an experienced Finance Director and become a key voice in the wider business. Based in Altrincham , you’ll be much more than the person producing the month-end numbers.

You’ll be in the room when decisions are made, at the table when performance is discussed, and trusted to make an impact. What will you be doing? Own month end – taking responsibility for accurate, insightful reporting and making sure the numbers tell the real story. Influence commercial decisions – working alongside the Finance Director to provide analysis and insight that shapes the direction of the business.

Be visible at Board level – presenting financial information, challenging performance and helping turn numbers into meaningful business decisions. Drive process improvement – spotting inefficiencies, questioning how things are done and taking the lead on making them better. Become a commercial partner – working across the wider business rather than sitting behind a spreadsheet, understanding what drives performance and helping the business improve.

We’re looking for a part-qualified or newly qualified Accountant who wants more than a traditional reporting role. You’ll have a keen eye for detail and an even keener eye for improvement . Someone who naturally asks “Why do we do it this way?” and isn’t afraid to suggest a better approach. You’ll be commercially minded, confident communicating with senior stakeholders and keen to develop your career alongside an experienced Finance Director who will give you genuine exposure and responsibility.
