• Strategic Finance Business Partner for the
Place directorate, covering areas such as regeneration, highways, environment, property and planning. Reporting into the Head of Finance – Place, you'll provide day-to-day financial insight and support across a commercially-focused, capital-heavy portfolio. Provide day-to-day strategic finance business partnering support to the Head of Finance – Place and directorate leadership team Support budget setting, monitoring and forecasting for Place, covering both revenue and capital, working closely with budget holders Contribute to the identification, tracking and delivery of savings and efficiency proposals Provide commercial financial input on regeneration, capital programme and income generation activity Build strong relationships across finance, the directorate and wider corporate teams, providing both support and challenge Support the Head of Finance with contributions to the council's MTFP and statutory reporting
