Strategic Finance Business Partner – Adults

A great opportunity to join a Staffordshire local authority's finance function as Strategic Finance Business Partner for Adult Social Care. Reporting into the Head of Finance – Adults, you'll provide day-to-day financial insight and support on one of the council's most complex, demand-led budgets. Provide day-to-day strategic finance business partnering support to the Head of Finance – Adults and directorate leadership team Support budget setting, monitoring and forecasting for Adults, working closely with budget holders Contribute to the identification, tracking and delivery of savings and efficiency proposals, including around care packages and market pressures Provide financial analysis, modelling and advice to support directorate and corporate decision-making Build strong relationships across finance, Adult Social Care and wider corporate teams, providing both support and challenge Support the Head of Finance with contributions to the council's MTFP and statutory reporting We're looking for a part or fully qualified accountant with local government finance experience, this is essential, ideally with some exposure to Adult Social Care or demand-led budgets.
