Position Overview

We are seeking a Therapists (PT, OT, or SLP) to join our team. This role blends professional therapy practice with the benefits of outdoor, equine-assisted, and nature-based approaches. Therapists will collaborate with trained horse handlers to ensure safe and engaging sessions while helping patients reach their fullest potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy services to patients in an outpatient, nature-based setting.
• Incorporate hippotherapy techniques into treatment sessions.
• Collaborate with horse handlers and staff to ensure safe, effective therapy experiences.
• Build strong connections with patients and families through compassionate care.
• Support the mission of Strides of Strength by fostering growth, healing, and resilience.

Qualifications

• Licensed Therapist (PT, OT, or SLP) — new graduates are welcome.
• Prior experience working with horses.
• Willingness to complete hippotherapy training (provided).
• Relaxed, approachable demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
• Passion for working outdoors and in nontraditional therapy settings.
