Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - PRN (As Needed)
Perform routine and specialized moderate and high complexity laboratory tests on all types of blood and body fluid specimens under minimal supervision.
Ensure accurate and reliable test results by adhering to a strict quality control program. Perform instrument function checks and preventative maintenance procedures according to department’s policies and procedures. Maintain records and statistical data according to regulatory requirements. Teach new employees and students laboratory policies and procedures. Collect chain of custody urine drug screens as required.
Shift differentials available:
Monday-Thursday 3p–11p: $3.50/h, 11p–7a: $3.75/h;
Friday-Sunday 11p–7a: $6.00/h;
Saturday–Sunday 7a–3p: $4.00/h, 3p–11p: $5.50/h. You must work 4 hours into the shift time to receive differentials.
Position is PRN as-needed; must be available to work at least 12 hours bi-weekly and may be required to work additional hours if requested by supervisor.

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field or equivalent experience totaling 2 years.
- Licenses/Certificates: MT (ASCP) or equivalent, and MLT (ASCP) must be obtained within 1 year of hire date;
Basic Life Safety (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA).
