CYP Clinical Support Worker Eating Disorder Service
Job Summary
We have full‑time and part‑time Clinical Support Worker vacancies within our CYP Integrated Eating Disorder service, Ancora House. A specialist interest in working with young people with eating disorders will allow you to assist young people in their recovery as part of the CHEDS team.
Main DutiesClinical Support Workers will develop and promote therapeutic relationships with service users and will be key to the day‑to‑day running of the eating disorder programme. This includes practical meal support, physical health observations and therapeutic group delivery. You will work under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and assist with all aspects of a clinical ward environment, including individualised patient care procedures and any duties identified by senior staff.

Person Specification Essential Qualifications- Minimum 5 GCSEs
- Appropriate mental health diploma or equivalent
- Any qualifications relevant to children
- Good verbal skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Experience of undertaking audits
- Computer literacy
- Demonstrated practice with basic theoretical knowledge
- Understanding of child development
- Experience of working with young people in a mental health setting
- Experience of multi‑agency working
