PA required to support a 23 yr old man with autism and ld who resides in Chester-le-Street

Reference: 992ee8b1 Personal Assistant required to support a 23 year old man with autism and learning disabilities who lives in Chester-le-Street, County Durham.

We are looking for someone to support this gentleman to go out and enjoy activities in the community, such as gym, cinema, climbing, events hosted by DADLG etc.

Hours/Wage: 9 hours per week £13.50 per hour Ideally this would be split over 2 sessions per week (Tuesday am/pm and a weekend day, am/pm). Duties:
Your main duty will be to accompany the person on trips into the community, joining in with the activity and providing support where necessary.

He enjoys physical activities, such as swimming, gym, trampolining and climbing.

He also enjoys the cinema, shopping and cafes.

Additional Information:
Experience of working with people with autism would be preferred but not essential.

Driver with full driving license and own car would be an advantage.

An enhanced DBS will be required, employer will cover the cost.
