What you will be doing...

You'll be working in one of our households with a warm, friendly team as a Team Senior Carer
. Working in Belong Chester you can make a real impact to the lives of older people; giving them the support to continue to live independently by providing excellent personal centred care.

You will carry out a variety of duties including:
  • Personal care
  • Medication management
  • Cooking
  • Dementia care
  • Deputise for the Team Leader
  • Uploading day to day details on care plans
Requirements

Required Qualifications
  • Care Certificate (Skills for Care) or NVQ Level 2 or above in Health and Social Care
  • Experience supporting older adults in a dementia care setting
  • Experience administering and recording medication accurately, along with updating care plans and daily resident records
  • Eligible to work in the UK and able to commute to Chester within around 30 minutes
  • Must not require visa sponsorship, and must have at least 6 months remaining on current right-to-work permission in the UK
  • Available to work 8-3, 3-10, and occasional long-day shifts, including alternate weekends on both Saturday and Sunday
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience leading shifts and deputising for the Team Leader
  • Experience completing staff appraisals and supervisions
  • Experience completing safeguarding forms and reporting safeguarding concerns
