Type: 6 months contract initially - 35 hours per week/full-time
Main Responsibilities- Manage and maintain employee time off, time tracking, and leave of absence data in Workday for the EMEA region.
- Review, approve, and process transactions submitted by employees and managers, including backdated adjustments where required.
- Ensure the integrity of employee records and HR data, meeting legal, regulatory, payroll, and statutory deadlines.
- Support employees and managers throughout leave processes, including communication during leave and coordination with HR Advisors and Rewards Specialists for complex cases.
- Monitor return-to-work activities and follow up with managers across the region.
- Review reports, identify discrepancies, and update Workday data accordingly; troubleshoot issues and escalate when necessary.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee medical and sensitive information.
- Provide standard employment letters based on defined guidelines when required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending process and policy enhancements, documenting changes, and updating process maps.
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and support updates to HR knowledge content in collaboration with HR Advisors and Rewards Specialists.
- Proven experience in time and absence management within HR.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including data manipulation (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables), and ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Experience with HRIS/HCM systems, ideally Workday.
- Additional language skills beyond English (German, Spanish, or French) are desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong learning agility and problem-solving skills.
