📍 Chester (Hybrid Working)
💷 £22 per hour
⏰ 35 hours per week | Monday - Friday
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Benefits Operations Specialist to join a global organisation, supporting the delivery and administration of employee benefits programmes across multiple markets. This is a fantastic opportunity for a benefits professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with complex HR and benefits processes.
The Role
As part of the People Services team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration and execution of employee benefits and retirement programmes, including health & welfare, savings plans, and wellness initiatives.
You will play a key role in ensuring benefits programmes are delivered efficiently, compliantly, and with a strong focus on employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end administration of benefits programmes across assigned markets.
Act as an escalation point for complex Benefits enquiries, providing expert guidance to employees and stakeholders.
Interpret and communicate benefits policies, processes and plan provisions.
Maintain and update Local Work Instructions, training documentation and knowledge articles.
Support the implementation of new benefits programmes, process improvements and system changes.
Administer benefit eligibility, enrolments, status changes, terminations and claims processes.
Liaise with benefits providers, brokers, insurers and third-party vendors.
Review and reconcile reports, data feeds, integrations and provider portal updates.
Manage invoicing and payment processes, including PO creation and invoice validation.
Monitor service delivery standards and resolve operational issues.
Support benefits enrolment periods and maintain annual activity calendars.
Investigate and resolve benefits-related queries from employees, HR and external vendors.
About You
Essential Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in Benefits Administration.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Good understanding of HR policies, employment legislation and benefits regulations.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
Experience working in a fast-paced, complex and constantly evolving environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Desirable Experience
Exposure to wider HR processes such as Talent Acquisition, Payroll or Performance Management.
Experience with in an HR Shared Services environment.
Knowledge of systems
Experience coaching, mentoring or developing colleagues.
Additional Skills
Fluent English is essential.
Additional language skills in Italian or Spanish would be highly advantageous.
