Our client is a global technology and consulting organisation delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes across highly regulated and secure environments. They are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Development Consultant to support the delivery of complex SAP solutions within a significant S/4

HANA programme.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise‑scale SAP transformation initiatives, helping to design, develop, and enhance SAP solutions using the latest SAP technologies while collaborating closely with both technical and functional teams across international locations.

As an SAP ABAP Development Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality SAP solutions across the full project lifecycle. You will work closely with clients, functional consultants, and technical teams to develop scalable, maintainable, and business‑focused SAP solutions.

The role will involve hands‑on development using modern SAP technologies, supporting solution design, testing, process improvement, and ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout project delivery.

You will also contribute to technical best practice, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting key SAP reference projects.

• Proven hands‑on SAP ABAP development experience across multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations
• Strong experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA
• Experience implementing Clean Core ABAP development principles
• Strong experience with CDS Views
• Experience developing Fiori Elements applications and reports
• Adobe Forms development experience
• Experience with ABAP for HANA
• Experience developing and supporting Function Modules, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Data Dictionary Objects, Reports and Web Services
• Strong client‑facing consulting and stakeholder management skills
• Experience supporting system testing and user acceptance testing
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Data Services experience
• Performance tuning experience
• Experience working within highly regulated environments
• Previous consulting experience within large-scale SAP transformation programmes
