This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a growing team in Chester at a firm that genuinely does things differently.

Who we’re looking for
  • Qualified Solicitor with experience in clinical negligence
  • Client-focused and empathetic, with the ability to support clients through difficult circumstances
  • Commercially aware, with an interest in contributing to departmental growth
  • Strong communication and drafting skills
  • Analytical, detail-focused and solutions-driven
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and ideas
  • Positive, proactive, “can-do” attitude
  • Confident using (or learning) case management systems (Desired)
What you’ll be doing
  • Managing a varied claimant clinical negligence caseload from initial instruction through to resolution (around 30–40 files)
  • Advising clients clearly and compassionately on their rights and options
  • Drafting and reviewing pleadings, witness statements, and expert reports
  • Building strong, trusting client relationships with exceptional levels of care
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistently high standards
  • Contributing ideas to the development and growth of the clinical negligence offering
  • Taking part in marketing and profile-raising initiatives for the department
