The Cleaning Supervisor at Nirvana Managed Services plays a critical role in ensuring the consistent delivery of high‑standard cleaning and site management services across client locations. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is responsible for leading and mentoring cleaning teams, maintaining operational efficiency, and upholding strict health, safety, and cleanliness standards. The supervisor ensures all areas are thoroughly cleaned and maintained through scheduled inspections, staff training, and effective resource management.

• Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff, aligning tasks with the Operations Manager’s directives.
• Arrange and cover for absent staff.
• Train new cleaning staff on proper procedures, safety protocols, and company standards.
• Maintain and manage cleaning schedules to ensure timely and consistent service delivery.
• Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to verify compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Order and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment to prevent shortages.
• Perform deep cleaning of sites weekly in accordance with the Operations Manager’s instructions.
• Address client and staff concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety regulations and company policies at all times.

• Proven experience in cleaning supervision or team leadership within a facilities management environment.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills with a detail‑oriented approach.
• Ability to train and mentor staff effectively.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and cleaning best practices.
• Valid DBS check (mandatory).
• Reliable transport and willingness to travel between sites (mileage allowance provided).
• Availability for 25 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.
• Availability from 15:00 to 19:00.

• Pro‑rata salary of £1,347.29 per month.
• 28 days paid holiday per year.
• Term time only (39 weeks per year, with some additional overtime for shut‑down cleans).
• Mileage paid at 0.25p per mile.
