School Cleaner - Chester & Surrounding Areas
Location: Chester & surrounding areas
Pay: £14.50 - £16.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:15pm - 5:15pm
Contract: Temporary / Long-term opportunity
Academics are currently recruiting for a School Cleaner to join a welcoming primary school in the rural Chester area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for reliable afternoon work within a friendly school environment. You will play an important role in keeping the school clean, tidy and ready for pupils and staff each day.
The Role
- Cleaning classrooms, communal areas and school facilities
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and wiping surfaces
- Cleaning toilets and other designated areas
- Ensuring cleaning standards are consistently maintained
- Following school health, safety and hygiene procedures
- Working independently while contributing to the wider school team
We're Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience is desirable, although not essential
- Someone reliable, punctual and conscientious
- Good attention to detail and pride in their work
- The ability to work independently and manage a regular cleaning routine
