Chester Job Type: Full-Time Salary: £30,000 OTE Bonus of £13,500 £ 15,000 per year Money Expert is an independent comparison business looking for an experienced Sales Team Manager to lead and develop a high-performing sales team. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you'll be responsible for driving sales performance, developing your team, and delivering exceptional customer outcomes while maintaining high standards of compliance and engagement.

The Role We're looking for a proven sales leader who can motivate, coach and develop a team to consistently achieve and exceed targets. Whilst experience within broadband sales would be beneficial, we are open to candidates from a range of sales backgrounds including energy, utilities, insurance, appliance cover, boiler cover, telecommunications and other target-driven sales environments. You'll be responsible for creating a high-performance culture, managing KPIs, developing individuals and driving commercial success through your team.
Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and motivate a team of Sales Advisors to achieve sales targets and KPIs. Monitor individual and team performance through regular reporting and performance reviews. Deliver effective coaching, feedback and development plans to improve performance and engagement. Ensure all sales activities are compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements. Manage attendance, conduct and performance issues in line with company procedures.
Analyse sales data and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and productivity. Work closely with senior management to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Support training and onboarding of new team members. Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on delivering excellent customer outcomes. Skills & Experience Essential:
Previous experience managing a sales team within a contact centre or similar sales environment. Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing sales professionals. Strong understanding of sales KPIs, performance management and coaching techniques. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and implement performance improvements. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Desirable:
Experience with in broadband, telecommunications, energy, utilities, insurance, appliance cover, boiler cover or similar sectors. Experience working in a regulated sales environment.
