Carolina Poly, Inc. located in Chester, SC, is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor on our Night Shift to organize workflows, develop employees and establish quality control guidelines. Carolina Poly, Inc. produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags and construction films.

• Responsible for the operation, technical supervision, administration and supervision of the QC department and the QC technicians.
• Conduct quality tests, organize and implement corporate quality systems, and develop and write procedures related to these systems.
• Ensure accurate evaluation, interpretation, and verification of analyses performed in the QC department.
• Manage and implement corporate quality systems.
• Works closely with departmental personnel (maintenance, engineering, production, and quality control) to ensure accuracy.
• Manage corporate quality control improvement projects.
• Responsible for reviewing, editing, and revising existing procedures and documents.

• At least 5 years’ experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance Management, and familiarity with the manufacturing environment required.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to teach, motivate, and lead personnel.
• Experience with research project management.
• Skills in statistics and procedure implementation preferred.
