What You Get to Do in This Position

Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet established standards of quality, safety, and performance. Here are the typical job duties for a Quality Inspector:

  • Inspect Products and Materials:
    Examine raw materials, components, and finished products for defects or deviations from specifications.
  • Document Inspection Results:
    Record findings and maintain detailed inspection reports. Note any non‑conformances and communicate them to relevant departments.
  • Ensure Compliance:
    Verify that products meet industry standards, company specifications, and regulatory requirements. Follow ISO, Schneider Electric Standards, or other applicable quality standards.
  • Support Continuous Improvement:
    Participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Suggest improvements to inspection procedures or product design.
Who is a Good Fit?
  • Conducting in‑process, final, and incoming inspections.
  • Experience with non‑conformance reporting (NCR) and quality audits.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Effective communication skills for reporting and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality inspection.
  • Familiarity with blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
  • Experience with basic computer skills.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Reporting

You will report to the Quality Control & Manufacturing Quality Process Lead. This role is an onsite position. You are required to report to either the Fairfield or West Chester, OH facility 5 days a week.
