Quality Manager in Food Production

Quality Manager Cambridgeshire Monday to Friday | 8:00am 5:00pm Permanent | Full Time If youre a food Quality Manager who knows your HACCP, can hold your own with a major retail customer and doesnt believe thats how weve always done it is a valid quality strategy, this could be a very good move. Were looking for a Quality Manager to take ownership of quality across a fast-paced, perishable goods environment.

This is not just about audits and paperwork. Youll be managing standards across raw materials and finished goods, analysing quality data, leading a team and working directly with key internal stakeholders and a prestigious retail customer. What you'll be doing Managing food safety, quality and compliance across the gifting operation Maintaining the Food Safety Management System and HACCP plans Supporting internal, customer and third-party audits Overseeing raw material and finished goods inspections Managing non-conformances and corrective actions Ensuring food labelling and customer requirements are met Analysing quality data and reporting trends and risks Working closely with Production, Procurement and NPD Leading and developing the Quality team Acting as a key technical contact for customer quality issues Driving continuous improvement across the operation What we're looking for A food or perishable goods background is essential .

Youll need experience in:
Food safety, hygiene and HACCP BRCGS and customer-specific standards Quality inspections and audits Food labelling compliance Data analysis and reporting Non-conformance and corrective action People management Customer and stakeholder management Just as importantly, you need a bit of presence. Someone credible. Confident. Commercially aware. Youll need to be able to challenge professionally, have difficult conversations when required and build strong relationships without simply saying yes to everything.

Were looking for someone dynamic, adaptable and genuinely interested in improving things rather than just maintaining them. Hours Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm There will need to be some flexibility during peak periods including Christmas, Valentines Day, Mothers Day and Easter Father's Day etc Why consider it?
