Relief Kitchen Assistant

Relief Kitchen Porter  Salary:  £14 per hour

We are looking for a reliable Relief Kitchen Porter to support a busy kitchen team for a single shift in Chester. This is a great opportunity for someone who is available immediately and confident working in a fast paced back of house environment. You will play a key role in keeping the kitchen organised, clean and running efficiently throughout service.
Relief Kitchen Porter Ideal Profile:  
• Experience working within a professional kitchen environment
• Confident supporting a team during busy service periods
• Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Available for a single shift at short notice
• Reliable, punctual and hard working
• Comfortable working on your feet for the duration of the shift
Relief Kitchen Porter Responsibilities:  
• Maintaining cleanliness across all kitchen and pot wash areas
• Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment efficiently during service
• Supporting chefs with basic preparation tasks if required
• Ensuring waste is managed correctly and work areas remain organised
• Assisting with deliveries if needed during the shift
• Helping the kitchen team ensure smooth and efficient service
