Kitchen Porter

Overview

Occasional Worker Agreement - Casual. We are seeking a hardworking and dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen. You will work closely with our chefs and kitchen staff to ensure the smooth running of operations.

• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing, mopping, and wiping surfaces
• Assist with the preparation of ingredients and support the chefs during food preparation
• Handle and store food in accordance with safety and hygiene regulations
• Maintain the inventory of kitchen supplies and inform the management team when items are low in stock
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that food is prepared and delivered promptly and according to standards
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
• Dispose of waste properly and recycle whenever possible

We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days. Flexible with evenings and weekends; shift patterns and contracted hours can be discussed at interview.
