• Operate one or more types of heavy construction equipment, ensuring safe operation, maintenance, and upkeep of equipment.
• Perform equipment maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing, and oiling machines.
• Adjust hand levers and depress pedals to operate equipment and control attachments such as blades, buckets, and swing booms.
• Discuss plans for the day’s work with field manager, review blueprints if necessary, and determine the best method of getting assigned work done safely, accurately, and on time.
• Make judgments regarding the most efficient operations of equipment and attachments.
• Comply with Allan Myers policies, including equipment repair/maintenance procedures and operator safety standards; adhere to safety policies such as “Home Safe Tonight” and related policies.

• Minimum of 3–5 years of equipment operating experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). A higher degree is a plus.
• Related work experience required.
