Our Center Director must demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills. • Early childhood professional credential such as a CDA, CCP or AAS in early childhood education;
  Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• Knowledge of applicable laws, rules and regulations relevant to the operations of a childcare facility
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of supervision and training, instruction methods, programs, philosophies and theories relevant to the operation of a childcare facility
• Excellent verbal, written and listening skills and the ability to communicate to a wide-ranging audience including those with varied educational levels and backgrounds
• Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work as part of a team
• Ten or more hours of management training
• At least one year of experience in a supervisory role
• Successful completion of the Virginia Pre‑Service Training for Child Care Staff
• Successful background check and VA licensing standards required

• Be responsible for the operation of your assigned center in accordance with all LLE Group policies and applicable licensing standards
• Be accountable for the overall financial health of the school, including budget maintenance, billing and tuition collection, fundraising, vendor relations, and inventory management
• Oversee the upkeep of the school grounds and facility
• Ensure implementation of training to enhance staff skill and professionalism within the center
• Ensure that staff maintain the required number of training hours per licensing and accreditation standards
• Develop and implement targeted marketing plans and execute the Marketing Department’s Enrollment Building program
• Evaluate programs, conduct classroom observations, develop improvement plans, and implement these plans in coordination with the District Director and others
• Attend meetings as necessary to perform duties and support business and organizational development under the District Director or supervisors
• Hire, orient, train, counsel and terminate staff as required
