Overview

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical
, seeks a full-time Electrical Service Manager in Chester, Virginia.

• Responsible for estimating and take-offs to ensure projects are attainable within contract quotes and time frames.
• Plan or prepare contract administration, execute and direct project activities, monitor field installation processes, coach field personnel and develop/maintain client relationships.
• Attend, coordinate or conduct meetings with technicians, trade contractors and suppliers to review project progress, shop drawing requirements, and material deliveries to meet objectives, schedules, and timely delivery.
• Oversee and monitor technician performance on assigned projects to ensure completion within established schedules and budgets, and adherence to quality standards.
• Travel may be required.

• 10 years of recent electrical service management experience.
• Related education or equivalent training/experience in construction management preferred.
• Proficient computer skills, troubleshooting skills and ability to estimate jobs.
• Knowledge of all cost elements, cost coding and ability to prepare and manage department budgets.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check and MVR check.
