Join Intercept Health as a Child Behavior Specialist. Intercept Health is a family‑owned agency serving mental and behavioral health, substance use, and foster care needs in Virginia.

Entry level pay starts at $20 per hour for direct care and increases based on experience and certification; ABA‑specific education pays up to $26 per hour. Indirect care pay ranges from $15 to $18 per hour.

• Support and implement individualized plans based on client targets and goals, focusing on decreasing unsafe behaviors and increasing communication and social skills.
• Observe client skills and collect data to assess individual skills and develop program goals.
• Work with children, adolescents, and young adults with autism, intellectual disabilities, or other developmental disabilities in a center‑based program that promotes language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent. Prefer Bachelor's degree in behavioral science.
• Previous experience working with children.
• Current registered behavior technician credential in good standing or ability to complete a 40‑hour class, competency assessment, and exam within 6 months of hire.
• Specific experience with children who have autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or ABA experience is a plus.
• Afternoon availability until 6:00 P.M.
