ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND:
You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM). Your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those looking for a personalized work schedule. As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you can create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members (via our myTime mobile scheduling app) that work best with your schedule.

When you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary. You will be expected to engage actively by picking up and working shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Flexibility can be granted in certain circumstances, but you need to respond to our attempts to contact you to confirm your interest in working shifts  you do not respond, employment may be terminated.

If you do not work at least one shift within 5 months, your employment may be administratively terminated. Communication and ability to work when business demands is critical to success in this role. Upon offer, you will attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule. Thereafter, the myTime app is used to pick up shifts.

Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Knowledgeable about in-store and digital services and solutions, driving adoption and guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring quality.

• Explain Wallet and other Target App features to guests
• Handle returns following register prompts, partnering with leaders as needed
• De-escalate situations and recover the guest shopping experience according to policy
• Provide easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders and related duties, including compliance with applicable laws
• Support cash office processes as needed
• Other duties based on business needs
