Position SummaryThe Area Supervisor is a member of Store Leadership responsible for a specific, assigned area of the store. Area Supervisors open and close the store, supervise associates, maintain a friendly and easy‑to‑shop environment, and execute company operational processes.
Essential Functions- Store Safety & Security – Maintain a safe shopping environment, secure the building, manage EAS devices, protect cash office and register area, and test fire alarm systems.
- Customer Service – Treat all customers, associates, and leaders with respect, demonstrate courtesy and professionalism, and recognize associates using company programs.
- Store Brand & Appearance – Represent the company brand, maintain a professional appearance, keep all store areas clean and merchandised to standard, and perform daily trash removal.
- Merchandising – Receive merchandise, process with urgency, maintain stockroom cleanliness and organization, handle floor moves and signing, and ensure loss prevention compliance.
- Front‑End Operations – Execute best practices, manage front‑end pacing and presence, train and coach associates on cash register procedures, control associate break schedules, and maintain front‑end equipment and supplies.
- Fitting Rooms & Fitting Room Compliance – Maintain cleanliness, audit garment tags, and ensure merchandise return compliance.
- Administrative Duties – Conduct cash pulls, manage payroll administration, and perform other duties assigned by the store manager.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
- Familiarity with point‑of‑sale equipment and applications.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Use all store equipment including PDAs, registers, and PC.
- Stand, walk, and move around the store 100% of working time.
- Regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
- Occasionally push, pull, and lift more than 25 lbs.
- Use janitorial equipment, rolling racks, ladders, and other assigned supplies.
- Stockroom shifts: push, pull, and lift more than 20 lbs.

CompensationBase salary: $65,000–$85,000.
Hours:
Full‑time. Additional benefits are available to qualifying employees.
